Mr. OEUNG Jeudy is an attorney-at-law and member of the Bar Association of
the Kingdom of Cambodia. He graduated from Pannasastra University of
Cambodia (PUC) with a Master of International Relations and International
Law and from Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) with a
Bachelor of Law. He attended many training programmes both in Cambodia
and in other countries such as in the Netherlands on international criminal
law, in Australia and Canada on international human rights law, in Sweden
on human rights, peace and security and in Germany on transitional justice
and reconciliation. He has extensive experience in criminal law and
international criminal law, human rights law, civil law, and alternative
dispute resolution. He was a legal coordinator at an NGO named the
Cambodian Human Rights Action Committee (CHRAC) where he provided
legal assistance and advice for the victims of the Khmer Rouge to participate
in the criminal proceedings before the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts
of Cambodia (ECCC) or popularly known as the Khmer Rouge tribunal.
